One more thing.......I'm having a blog redesign soon by the very talented Rachael from Parajunkee Design. I have a few ideas but would like your input. What would you to see - or not see?? More stuff?? I kind of like a simple layout but what do you think? 2 or 3 columns??

  1. I'm with you on the simple layout. I hope you stick with it, and don't go the way a lot of the others have with too much stuff.. That along with the too bright color that seems to be the fad have had me avoiding several of the blogs.. the pages take forever to load and literally cause headaches.. its like visual overload...

  2. I think it's a lot easier to stick to a simple layout ... I'd only pick a 3 column if there's a lot of stuff that you need to fit in. I have a three column, and it's only because my side-bar would be far too long otherwise (I had to put lots of stuff in Slide Shows and scrolly things anyway) ... it's actually a pain, because I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I always feel like the columns have to be of equal lengths, otherwise they look odd. So I'd definitely stick to simple :)

I have to agree with the other commenter about bright colours, lol ... I love pretty blogs, but certain colour-combinations are insane, and just about do your head in!

Can't wait to see what you and Parajunkee come up with ... her designs are stunning!
