Stacking the Shelves

Stackingtheshelves

Stacking The Shelves – hosted by Tynga’s Reviews,  is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

I've been SO good not buying books the last few months but I got out of control with the .99 and Freebie Kindle deals in the last few days of November. Honestly there were even more books than I listed here but I’ll feel overwhelmed if I say it (post it) out loud. At least when they are on the Kindle they aren’t taking up space and I can pretend I didn’t do it right? Denial is a beautiful thing!

Here’s what I got!
Going Too Far by Jennifer Echols – I have this book my Kndle already but it is one of my all time favorite books EVER and the paperback was on sale for $4.99 this week. I HAD to have it.

Love Story by Jennifer Echols – My friend Kimberly from Living Fictitiously went to a Jennifer Echols signing and got me a copy of Love Story – signed by Jennifer!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Kimberly! *hugs book* *hugs Kimberly*

Confession (Curio #5) by Cara McKenna – I love this series and this was the BIG reveal! I was a tad disappointed in this vignette but still enjoyed it. You can read my Goodreads review here.

Shadow's Claim by Kresley Cole – My Goodreads review (WARNING! there are spoilers)

Losing It by Cora Carmack – I finished this one last night and it’s another fun addition to the New Adult genre. A little sexier than YA but tamer than adult.

Not pictured:

Grease Monkey Jive by Ainslie Paton – I’m reading this one now. Odd title and it takes place in Australia so I’m totally confused by some of the sayings and words but it has a great slowly simmering romance that I'm loving so far. It takes place in the world of ballroom dance competitions. It’s something a little different and I’m enjoying it

Dangerous Voices by Rae Carson – Freebie short story
Offside (The Barker Triplets #1) by Juliana Stone
The Unloved by Jennifer Snyder

Lust for Life by Jeri Smith-Ready – The final book in the WVMP Vampire series. I’m so happy with how this series ended. Perfect. Read my review on Goodreads here.
I also picked up a few books for a Secret Santa exchange which I obviously can’t tell you about Smile
What did you get this week?

  9. Book bans are really hard to stick to, but love your rationale that ebooks don't count since you can't see them and they don't take up any room. Makes sense to me! Happy reading!

  11. $4.99? How did I miss that deal? And that's so sweet of your friend do get you that book because it seems like you're a pretty big fan! (: And the 99 cent sales are so hard to resist, so I completely get that.
