Sunday Ramblings….

OK – So I know I may be reaching the point of annoyance but I have ANOTHER Ed Sheeran video for you. I can’t help it – his voice and songs make me swoon. This one is so sad but still beautiful.

Here’s Ed’s new video for Small Bump

Books Worth Remembering has a very interesting vlog/rant about ‘British Accents’ in YA books.

What I’m reading – wrap up for the week:
She Tempts the Duke by Lorraine Heath – Really enjoyed this one. A touch of Beauty & the Beast
Wicked in Your Arms by Sophie Jordon – cute

Of Poseidon by Anna Banks – I enjoyed it but wasn’t blown away – review to come.
Body & Soul by Stacey Kade – Perfect ending to the Ghost & the Goth series. I was SO happy with it.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor – I’m starting this one tonight.

    1. His CD comes out in the US in June! I think I've run through all his videos so you should get a break from him on the blog for a while lol.
I just started it but I'm enjoying DoSaB so far.

  2. What a cool win! I'm so jealous. I love the Ghost and Goth series. What do you think of the annotations?

I'm trying to get in the habit of posting my fav CD videos in my recap. I actually reposted the Jack White Love Interruption video this week, because I still can't stop watching it. I think I'm going to watch it for the 4th time today when I'm done commenting. I hope I won't listen to it so much that I start to hate it.

    1. The notes are very cool. Some silly things like where names of characters and places came from (usually a former teacher or person that SK knew in real life)
And some notes about how certain chapters were completely re-written or very difficult to write.
I have a few other annotated books that I won from charity auctions and they are just so cool.

P.S. If you don't want Love Interruption stuck in your head again don't visit my Tune in Tuesday this week :-)

    2. I won a copy of Leah Cypess's Mistwood with two annotated chapters. I haven't had a chance to read those parts, but what I've scanned looked great.

Oooh! Can't wait to see your Tune in Tuesday then! I'm definitely not sick of the song yet.

  8. Are you trying to kill me with sadness with this song? oh, it's just shattering.

On Love's Rhythm, I have learned to expect more graphic writing from authors with more than one 'X' in their name. :-)
