TGIF!

TGIF is hosted by GReads! to re-cap the week's posts & to propose a question for followers.

This weeks question is: Books to Television: Which books would you love to see made in to a tv series? or movie?

You will be STUNNED at what I pick. NOT.... lol Yes, of course it's something written by Jeri Smith-Ready. Every time I watch any vampire movie or TV show I always wish they would make a TV series based on Jeri's WVMP Radio Vampire Series. The series is about a radio station run by several vampires DJ's whose minds and musical tastes are stuck in the time they were turned. Con artist Ciara Griffin finds herself trying to reform her conning ways to save the radio station while protecting her new friends secret.
The story lines would be endless and a blast to watch. You have the music which is integral to the series (WIN!), there are several vampires from different decades to spotlight for variety and we have the super sexy and complex relationship of Ciara and Shane.
The series is dark, snarky, fun, scary and sexy......the perfect mix for a TV show. (HBO or cable please - need to be able to show everything!)

Enclave

My other pick would be Enclave by Ann Aguirre. When I read this book I felt like I was in a movie. I could visualize the entire thing and felt like I was there so I think it would be a perfect choice.

  2. I have heard Enclave was pretty good and added it to my watch list. Of COURSE I picked Shade. As Ginger said, you cannot go wrong with a JSR series.

  4. I almost added Enclave to my list too! I read it a couple months ago and loved it. I agree that it would make a great movie! I still have not read Shade and Shift but I plan too!

  5. I included Enclave in my list when I said pretty much any dystopian/post-apocalyptic book I've read. Seriously, I think those make for amazing movies.

  6. I can't wait to read Enclave! It has been on my TBR list for a while now! I think I might wait for it to come out in paperback though.

  7. I totally agree! The WVMP series would make a great TV series. Better than movie I think.

By the way...I've tagged you! It's fun, but you don't have to do it if you don't want to. If you do, just share 10 random facts about yourself and tag four other people. Tag You're It!
