In My Mailbox

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren to spotlight what books we've bought, borrowed or won for the week.

My Borders closed many months ago and I bought A LOT. I thought I was done but then I went on vacation this past week and took a trip to the local mall and behold.....there was a Borders closing! It was the final few days so I didn't expect to find much but there was quite a bit left....all at 70-90% off.

Here's the list!

Ann Aguirre & Ava Gray (same author):
Doubleblind
Killbox
Skin Dive
Skin Heat

Gini Koch:
Touched by and Alien
Alien Tango

Sean McGuire:
An Artificial Light
Local Habitation
Late Eclipses

Jesse Peterson:
Eat, Slay, Love

Kresley Cole, Gena Showalter:
Deep Kiss of Winter

Jennifer Estep:
Tangled

Karen Marie Moning:
Shadowfever

Patricia Briggs:
Silver Borne

Beth Revis:
Across the Universe

Kat Richardson:
Downpour

Sherman Alexie:
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

I WAS finally making some progress and clearing off my shelves.....oh well. Such is the curse of the avid reader.

What did you get this week?

  1. Oh, lucky! I came across a Borders that was closing, but there was barely anything left. I managed to snag the last copy of Red Glove by Holly Black, though. :) I'm going to suggest that you read Across the Universe first, maybe because I'm biased, but that book will surprise you out of your wits. It's simply shocking.

  15. You totally scored on that Borders sale, didn't you?! When I went, all the YA books had been bought out by Half Price Books. NO FAIR. I still have to read Across the Universe. It looks so good and I am loving that cover.

  22. Every time I see something about Across the Universe, my mind says, "Should I?" I'll be interested to know what you think. It's one of those books which never quite makes it to my to-read pile.
