{Short & Tweet} Review: Sweet Filthy Boy By (Wild Seasons #1) by Christina Lauren

Unknown

Inspired by Midnight Book Girl, Short & Tweet reviews are my way of taking time off from the daily blogger grind for the hellish month of August while still keeping you posted about what I’m reading.

Because I can't be confined to 140 characters - expect twitlonger length reviews lol

Sweet Filthy Boy (Wild Seasons #1) by Christina Lauren

Source: Purchased

One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.

When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.

{short & tweet}

The boy is indeed sweet and filthy! I needed to really let go of logic and reality to enjoy this one but I liked the twist on the married in vegas trope. I like you – let’s STAY married!

This book was non stop sex and that’s just not my favorite thing. What’s the relationship without the sex??

Still, it was fun and admittedly hot - but I didn't love it.

  1. Non stop sex doesn't sound all that appealing in books (heh), but I have no trouble letting go of reality. :)
    I love this format, btw.

    1. It's sexy but I just needed more. I never quite believe in a couple that has non stop sex lol

  2. I suppose it's only fair that my comment got eaten, too...

Anyway -- it was YOU and your blog who inspired me!! I'm so sorry I didn't credit you (going back to fix this after I post this comment) because I couldn't remember who did a tweet-short post. But, yay!!

    1. Ha! I'm hardly the first person doing it and I think you're went up before mine.

  3. Always great to let go of logic and just enjoy

  4. I think it was the popularity of the non-stop sex in the fanfic-turned-Beautiful Bastard that has cemented the Christina Lauren brand. I suppose it's to be expected in their titles now.

    1. I never read that series. It didn't' sound like my kind of thing but I was intrigued by this guy being nice. And he was but still not for me.

  5. I need some relationship in the smex! There are a few times I can't let go of logic, but most times my brain says... "what is this logic thing you speak of?" :) This might be something I would read, but I think I'd library book it.

    2. I liked it. I thought it was funny but the sex vs actual relationship moments was too much for me. I did like that he was a nice guy though.

Yup - that's Kevin and Beau lol

  8. Well, you gave me my first laugh of the day. First, the non-stop sex comment cracked me up. And then, that photo. HOW do you get your dog to wear glasses??

    1. I just always wonder what happens to the relationship when you can't have sex every hour. Or how you CAN have sex every hour lol

  9. Non stop sex? Yeah I think I would get bored with that fast.
