In My Mailbox

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren to spotlight what books we've received for the week.

From my lovely friend Lena - Addicted 2 Novels:

A signed copy of The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

Thanks Lena xoxo!

For review:

The Taker by Alma Katsu - Thank you Gallery Books & Alma Katsu

Shadowlander by Theresa Meyers (e-galley, not pictured) - Thank you Entangled Publishing

Outpost by Ann Aguirre (not pictured) - I was lucky enough to read an early revised draft of Outpost. You guys will not be disappointed!! I had problems sleeping the night I read it O_O

Won:

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Audio CD from Midnyte Reader - Pam was also sent along a spooky bracelet she made. THANK YOU!! That was so nice of you.

Bought:

Start Me Up by Victoria Dahl - I read this one on my Kindle a few years ago and it's one of my favorite contemporary romances so I bought a copy for the keeper shelf. It's hilarious and sexy. I thought I deserved to have a book that's just for fun and not for review.

What did you all get this week??

  1. I'm still oozing (????) with jealousy over Outpost. I don't know how I feel about the "not sleeping after you read it" note though.

  2. I can't believe you've read an early draft of Outpost by Ann Aguirre. Can I just say, this girl right here is totally JEALOUS! Enclave is one of my most favorite reads of the year, and ever. I can't wait for Outpost. I'm seeing The Night Circus pop up everywhere, so I think I'll have to check it out. Enjoy!

  9. I remember enjoying Start Me Up back in the day. Victoria's a good author. Tell me what you think of the Night Circus--it has received unfathomable hype, but some bloggers are saying it's overrated.

And The Legend of Sleepy Hollow! I've been meaning to read that one, I think it would be the perfect Halloween read based on the movie :)
