Better Know a Blogger! Supernatural Snark

I found Supernatural Snark when it was the featured blog on Parajunkee's Follow Friday meme. How can you not check out a blog named "Supernatural Snark"? Jenny has very well written reviews and I love her cover critiques! She also donated her time to make the beautiful "Better Know a Blogger" button above. Thank you so much Jenny!!

Your Name: Jenny

Name of your blog: Supernatural Snark -

When did you start Supernatural Snark?*blushes* I started the blog at the end of June, so I’m still pretty new to it.

Number of followers? 329

What do you review? I review anything paranormal. Young adult, Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance are my preferred genres, but I don’t mind trying something else out every once in a while.

How did you get the name for your blog? I tend to be a little sarcastic at times, and sometimes things come out of my mouth without provocation that should have remained a thought and not vocalized. I try and infuse a little of that sarcasm into my reviews and my cover critiques to make things fun, so that combined with my subject matter led me to Supernatural Snark.

How would you describe your blog? This is a hard one! I guess I would describe it as (hopefully) informative with a little humor thrown in. I like the blogs that show the blogger’s personality, so I try and make sure some of mine shows through all the critiquing.

What kind of blogger are you? Very organized or fly by the seat of your pants? I’m definitely more organized. I’m almost obsessive about having my posts planned out because I work a lot better with a set goal in mind. Sometimes new things pop up and I have to adjust, but having a list where I can cross things off is a must for me!

What is your favorite review or post for your own blog? I have 2 that I really enjoyed writing (and I really don’t mean that in a pretentious I’m-so-good-I-can’t-pick-just-one type of way).
The first is a cover critique, not a review:
The second is a double review of Stacia Kane’s Downside Ghosts series:

What is your favorite blog? There are so many great ones! I could easily list twenty, but I would say I really enjoy Kristi at The Story Siren. Not only is her blog really pretty and easy on the eyes, she always has a wealth of information about upcoming releases, publishers, contests and other fun stuff in addition to her reviews. In non-book related blogs, I love Cake Wrecks. Seeing professionally made cakes decorated as though a 3-year old did them is hilarious.

What are you reading right now? I’m reading City of Ghosts, the third in the Downside Ghosts series. Then I’m going back into young adult world with The Thirteenth Chime and Wildthorn.

Thank You Jenny!!
