Fav HEA books? I often just pick up any book by a particular author. Lisa Kleypas' historical romances are just the thing for an overburdened mind, as are Susan Elizabeth Phillips' contemporaries. For palate cleansing, I like a happy story that doesn't simultaneously insult my intelligence--good writing is a must!

  5. My favorite light-hearted book? I'm going with either Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine or Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. They both make me laugh through the writing & characters. : ) But I'm always so satisfied when the MCs end up together - as they should! ; )

For a cleanser I always revert back to the classics...I'm a huge Austen fan so Pride and Prejudice is always my go to...I read it at least once a year!

  11. Generally when I'm looking for light reading I pick up something horror or fantasy...something I don't really have to think about...a good example would be anything by Richard Laymon or perhaps a Marvel prose novel.

Old(ish) but still kind of new(ish) follower so that gets me an extra 1.5 entries?!? :)

  18. Off the top of my head, I'd have to say Never Cry Werewolf by Heather Davis, it's cute and a really light read, with the sweetest ending possible, although it does leave the way open for a sequel, so there's a few loose ends ... :)
