my blog’s name in books tag

I first saw this tag over at Book-and-Dachshunds and decided to join in.

*btw – I’m loving tags this summer! It’s a fun way to still talk about things while my reading has tapered down due to the heat. Feel free to tag yourself or recommend any other tags you know about.

Here's a fun one!
* Greg from Book Haven has a Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys Tag

So back to the Blog Book Name Tag!

Rules:
• Spell out your blog’s name.
• Find a book from your TBR that begins with each letter.

NOTE: You cannot ADD to your TBR to complete this challenge – the books must already be on your Goodreads TBR. Don’t cheat my friends!!!!!

I’ve only used books that are on my physical book shelf! I thought it would be super easy since my blog name has generic letters but it was hard! I actually have more U & W books than O’s lol And sooooo many L’s which were useless for this tag. And... If I ever pick a new blog name, it's going to be a lot shorter!! 🤣

I tried to pick a mix of old, new & upcoming books.

*Clicking on the cover will take you to the Goodreads page

  1. EEEE so jealous that you have What If It's Us! I hope you enjoy it. ♥ Some Girls Are looks so good too--I've read one book by this author before and really enjoyed it!

  2. I actually think your blog name is catchy (not to mention humble, but in a wink-wink way LOL). And it suits you, because I'm sure you're far less opinionated than me 😂.
Now you should probably...read all the books above? 😂

    1. Ha! You must meet the people in my real life if you don't think I'm opinionated lol

That is the reason for my blog title :-) I think that side of me has suffered a bit because of my various blogging/reading slumps. I guess I don't have the energy these days or I haven't felt passionate about books/blogging like I used to.

I could probably get a reading challenge going with this post. Hmmmmm

  3. I like the name of your blog because it's easily noticeable, and this looks like a fun and really interesting challenge, too! Hugs...RO

  4. What a fun tag! I think mine would be kind of tough to do - lots of O's and whatnot. LOL I still want to read Hold Me Closer, Necromancer. I don't own it, but it looks fun!!! :) Tags are really enjoyable when you don't have much else to post. :)

Tags have been so much fun for me this summer when I haven't felt like reading or blogging.

    1. I know some people include their list on goodreads of books they want to read but for me - a tbr is books I own.

  10. I misread this and thought it had to be books physically on your shelves! Great books, I meant to read The Replacement yearsssss ago.

    1. Just on some sort of list - owned or a Goodreads TBR list. I figured I had enough psychical books after ALA and before to pull it off. Juuuuust barely though...

  11. WOW I am impressed that you were able to use your actual owned books to do this! I feel like mine is wayyy too long to do that- but I also like the idea of being challenged! I also see a LOT of books here that I want to read too, so looks like you have a very nice reading list ahead of you! So fun, thanks for sharing it!

    1. Exactly. That's why I tried to choose from only my psychical pile. I knew I had some older books in there. Good way to feature them AND remind me that I have them lol

And ha! Yes on those long blog names. This looks fun so I might have to give it a go ;)

  19. This sounds like fun! And I bet it's a lot harder than I think it would be. Honestly, it's cool having a longer blog name because this way you've gotten explore your TBR that bit more to find books!

    1. It was!!!! I thought it would take me 5 minutes - tops...I had to bring my husband in to help look for O's & F's lol Oddly enough, the W's were the easiest.

  20. Rabbit and Robot and I'm still alive both seem like great reads, I have them both on my TBR. This is a really fun tag.
