Review:
Double Click picks up where Click: An Online Love Story left off. We have a chance to see, 6 months later, what has happened with the gang as they navigate through engagements, pregnancies and new relationships. All the characters are quite relatable. I'm sure every one of us has either been in or knows of a friend that has been in similar situations which makes this a fun read.

Once again the story unfolds in a series of emails. I didn't love Double Click quite as much as Click though. With the online dating part over, I really missed the conflict and hilarity of those stories. The banter between the friends (& frenimies) is still fun and there are a few up and downs but this felt more like a series of emails that should have been phone calls. Nothing too dramatic and it felt a little like I was snooping through someone’s private emails.

Having said that, it’s kind of nice to read about everyday relationship struggles that don’t involve an abusive, tortured past and you’ll find more than a few laughs.

Final thoughts: I'm not sure if there will be any more books in this series but I would be happy to catch up with Renee and company again. Overall this is a fun, fast paced series about love and dating in the technological age.

    1. She did a good job with it. It seems like ti would be impersonal but it wasn't.
