WVMP Let It Bleed by Jeri Smith-Ready serial novella and Giveaway!

Jeri Smith-Ready has been garnering a lot of attention as of late for her YA Shade Trilogy and perhaps you've heard of that whole #TeamKilt YA Crush Tournament thingy…....but I've been a huge fan of Jeri's for years now after reading her very adult Urban Fantasy WVMP Radio Vampire series. Vampires have taken off in a big way and it's hard to find a new series with an original concept but Jeri did just that with this sexy, smart, funny take on the genre.

"Recovering con artist Ciara Griffin is trying to live the straight life, even if it means finding a (shudder!) real job. She takes an internship at a local radio station, whose late-night time-warp format features 1940s blues, 60s psychedelia, 80s Goth, and more, all with an uncannily authentic flair. Ciara soon discovers how the DJs maintain their cred: they’re vampires, stuck forever in the eras in which they were turned."

If your a music fan, you're in for a real treat! Each book has its own playlist with songs spanning from many decades. The playlists are also on Jeri's blog listed under each book.

There are three books in the series so far: Wicked Game, Bad to the Bone and Bring on the Night. Since we have to wait a bit for book four,  Lust for Life, the final installment in the series (Fall 2012), Jeri is posting an online serial novella called Let It Bleed. The first chapter went up July 26th and a new chapter will post each Monday for about 20 weeks.

It's very interactive - fans can guess what's going to happen next to be entered into a weekly giveaway. Sign up for Jeri's newsletter and you will be notified when each chapter is posted.

<----- Oh look! A convenient link to do just that!

The intro and first three chapters are posted here on Jeri's blog. For links to the books, playlists, extras and merchandise go here!

As much as I want you all to jump right in and start reading this, I have to say - you REALLY need to read the previous books first. Particularly Bring on the Night. You will be very confused and miss out on the mother of all ZOMG that's a HUGE twist moment!!

So to help you out with that I'm having a giveaway!

I'm giving away one book of your choice from the series. It will give you a chance to start from the beginning or catch up to speed if you haven't read all three books yet!

Just fill out the form below.

If the series is new to you but you're intrigued by the whole "stuck-in-time" vampire concept, check out Jeri's "origin stories" of how a few of the vampires from the series were turned . It's a great way to get a peek at Jeri's writing and check out the series. They take place way before Wicked Game so no spoilers either!

The links are below for each vampire. I'm adding some trivia questions from the origin stories to the form if you want extra entries! 5 extra points for each correct answer. Optional - not required!
