Sunday Ramblings....

First up is a pet picture sent in from Jackie of Housewife Blues and Chihuahua Stories blog.

"Blade" being a good book guarding kitty!
So it's been hotter than hell here in FL with lots of rain. The whole thing is making me one lazy slug and I'm not accomplishing very much including writing reviews for 4 books I've read or organizing my BEA books.

On the plus side I have finally started to make a dent into my TBR and I'm pleased to say that I even read two books that I actually liked!! WOO-HOO!! TWO...in a row!! One was Moon Called (link for my sort of review below) and the second is Raised by Wolves. I hope to have a review for that one up this Thursday.

So on with the wrap up!

Read:
The Darkest Lie by Gena Showalter
Moon Called by Patricia Briggs
Forget-Her-Nots by Amy Brecount White
The Dead Travel Fast by Deanna Raybourn
Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

  3. Yay for Raised by Wolves! And for My SOul to Keep--after My Soul to Take, Steal, and Keep I'm hoping she'll do a Chili Peppers tribute and make the next book My Soul to Squeeze.

    And Dangerous. Ah...

  4. @Tiger- LOL!

Look at the cute little pets. My favorite is Blade because I love cats and he loves books. Good kitty.

And it's been super hot/rainy in Houston too. *grumbles* The weather gods must not be pleased.

  5. Karen thanks for posting my babies, they look even cuter on your site then on mine!!! Glad to hear everyone likes Blade, he is the cuddler and he loves to hear good comments about him in his bookshelf guard position!!

I too loved Moon Called and am looking forward to at some point reading Raised by Wolves. Hot and humid from all the rain in our area of Central Texas too, Happy 4th!

  6. Florida should be called the "Rainy State" instead of the "Sunshine State" So much for hanging at the water, waiting for fireworks...

    Blade is adorable!!

Jennifer Lynne Barnes will be at PBD on Tuesday.
