Music: Foo Fighters cover of the Bee Gees You Should Be Dancing

I skipped the past two outdoor concerts because 93 degrees is too hella hot to sit outside in the sun to watch a cover band, Sorry bands but... lol

So here's a cover that Kevin found from the Foo Fighters. I think it's pretty awesome.

Upon further investigation (& something you all probably know already lol), I found that they released a full length album on National Record Store Day in July -  as the Dee Gees - that includes 4 Bee Gee covers, Andy Gibbs Shadow Dancing and five live versions of songs from their last album Medicine at Midnight.

What do you think of this version? 👍 ?👎 ?

  1. It's pretty true to the original. I am impressed that Grohl could get that high.

  5. I've always liked the Foo Fighters. The lead singer, David Grohl used to be the drummer for Nirvana. They did a great job on this song.

  6. I just saw this a couple weeks ago (I have no idea how recent/old it is) but I was blown away. It's like, really? The Foo Fighters decided to cover The Bee Gees? Never saw that coming. But such a great cover!

  9. I love the Foo Fighters!! I was in stitches when I heard they'd covered a load of BeeGees songs but they've done them so well. Like you, I can't believe Dave Grohl can sing that high! But I really shouldn't be surprised... That dude really is talented.

They did their traditional drive-by of Westboro Baptist Church when they picketed their recent concert by singing one of the covers on the back of a pick up truck... Not as fun as the video of them rick-rolling them but still awesome, lol.
