My Monday Musings….

I’ve been struggling so much to get back into my reading and blogging groove since the move but I think I’m finally getting there!

I read 6 books in April – which is super low for me (I usually read 12-ish) but fantastic since my 1 book a month since January lol

And they were all great reads!

May TBR

Here are my May arc’s plus a few holdovers that I had meant to read. As usual – I’m a mood reader so this is not necessarily what I will read but what’s coming out this month.

I’m listening Rayne & Delilah’s Midnite Matinee right now and audio and it’s …weird…but cute so far.

As for blogging – I think I might be picking up the pace. I hated the room my desk was in but we moved it out to the loft area where it’s bright and airy – and more importantly…not a room filled with boxes that I have yet to unpack – thereby stressing me out 🤣

I had so many post ideas but once I sit down I can barely motivate myself to do more than visit a few blogs. So we'll see how this week goes in my new digs.

What are you planning on reading this May?

  3. Glad to hear your reading mojo's coming back. :) And yeah sometimes a change of scenery is needed. I used to hate it when my computer was downstairs- once I moved it upstairs to a brighter area with a window it was much better. :)

    1. The other room just kept making me think of the mess and all the things I need (& can't because there's no room here) to do.

    1. I have a few Netgalley books to get through but they're June reads so I'm pushing them to the back burner for now lol

Enjoy Hoang's books! I read the first one so far.

  5. I'm glad you had a nice reading month in April - hopefully May will be the same! I have a variety of May ARCs to read/review so we'll see how much I can get to. LOL I also have Hellhole by Gina Damico to read for my book club; it looks fun!

  8. I just loved The Unhoneymooners. After recently reading My Favorite Half-Night Stand (meh) it was like Christina Lauren was back doing what they do best. I still haven’t picked up Becoming but I want to get to it soon.

  9. I adored Zentner's book. The romance was adorable and the friendship was fantastic. A small part that occurred at the Con was a little too OTT for me, but otherwise, loved it!

The bright side is, you do visit! You're far better than me at it - though lately I was modem-less for 8 friggin' days, so I had a good excuse LOL. At work, I can't do much more than approve my own blog's comments and briefly reply to them (or write the odd tweet). Now I'm curious about your post ideas...so you better deliver 😜 😂.
