We saw Kaleo (You probably know them best from Way Down We Go) last night and it was an awesome show! Man the voice on lead singer JJ Julius Son! He has an amazing vocal range.

I loved this cover of Cher’s Bang Bang. Honestly, it was better live but this is good too.

Kaleo is from Iceland and they have one song, Vor í Vaglaskógi, that they sing in their native Icelandic and it’s beautiful.

  4. Oh I like these. I also love hearing a song in their native language. I am always surprised that the US doesn't have more music done in other languages in the main stream.

  5. Oh wow, Vor i Vaglaskogi is absolutely beautiful! I think music really does transcend language, even not knowing the translated lyrics, the music itself moves you. Thanks for sharing Karen, might listen to it again <3

    1. Yay! I'm glad you like it. It's my husband's favorite song by them but I thought it might be too weird for some lol

Even with the language barrier I think the emotions are so strong with this song that it's universal.
