Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s reviews and I’m going to join in with Talk Supe’s Bought Borrowed and Bagged starting this week.
For review:
A Week of Mondays by Jessica Brody – Goodreads When I made the wish, I just wanted a do-over. Another chance to make things right. I never, in a million years, thought it might actually come true...
~ I’ve really enjoyed Brody’s contemporary YA’s. Always fun and relatable!
A Gentleman Never Tells (Esssex Sisters #4.5) by Eloisa James – Goodreads Eighteen months ago, Lizzie Troutt’s husband died in his mistress’s bed, leaving her determined to never marry again….and unfortunately virginal.
Eighteen years ago (give or take a few) the Honorable Oliver Berwick blackened his own soul, leaving him hardened and resolutely single.
When the chance for redemption in the form of a country house party invitation comes his way, Oliver is determined to prove himself a gentleman.
Until he breaks all the codes of gentlemanly behavior…once again.
~ I love Elosia James but I was turned off by a really awful hero of hers a few years back and haven’t read anything by her since but I’m dipping my toes back in and hoping for the best.

That’s it for me this week!
I’m still taking it easy accepting review copies/buying books because ALA is NEXT WEEKEND! I seem to be getting my reading mojo back and read 4 books this past week. *pats self on back*
Happy Reading Everyone!
Oh I love the picture of the Sheltie. The Sheltie looks like he wants your attention. You got some interesting books this weeks.

Oh, you did a sheltie / shelfie / selfie :) That's so cute, Karen! Freddy usually comes and tries to lie down on my lap while I'm reading :)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo Karen <3 I didn't know Jessica Brody had any contemporaries out. I read Unremembered a while back and really enjoyed it, so I'll have to check that one out.
ReplyDeleteJessica Brody...that name sounds so familiar to me but I don't think I've read anything by her!
ReplyDeleteYour dogs are too cute!!! I'm trying not to accept too many review books either. I'm steadily making my way through the books I have on Netgalley now and also trying to fit in BEA titles. Have fun at ALA!!!
