Perdition (Dred Chronicles #1)
WELCOME TO HELL

The prison ship Perdition, a floating city where the Conglomerate’s most dangerous criminals are confined for life, orbits endlessly around a barren asteroid.

Life inside is even more bleak. Hailed as the Dread Queen, inmate Dresdemona “Dred” Devos controls one of Perdition’s six territories, bordered on both sides by would-be kings eager to challenge her claim. Keeping them at bay requires constant vigilance, as well as a steady influx of new recruits to replace the fallen. Survival is a constant battle, and death is the only escape.

Of the newest convicts, only one is worth Dred’s attention. The mercenary Jael, with his deadly gaze and attitude, may be the most dangerous criminal onboard. His combat skill could give her the edge she needs, if he doesn’t betray her first. Unfortunately, that’s what he does best. Winning Jael’s allegiance will be a challenge, but failure could be worse than death. ~ Goodreads

Perdition is a new romantic science fiction series set in Aguirre’s Sirantha Jax world. The Jax series was my first introduction to Ann’s writing and remains a favorite series of mine but I have to say I think I loved Perdition even MORE. This book was seriously non-stop kickass action that had me holding my breath a few times. It was insane!
You don’t need to have read the Jax series first (but you should of course Smile)

Anywaaaaay…. I was a good little reader and pre-ordered my copy as soon as it was available on Amazon. But instead of one copy I received two. Then a month later…another copy. Now I LOVE this book but you can only own and read so many copies lol That means a giveaway!

I’m giving away TWO copies of Perdition to two lucky US winners.
Easy entry – just fill out the form below. US only. I’ll announce the winners on Friday.

*Also, If you're a fan of Ann Aguirre's YA Razorland trilogy - she's having a BIG Horde-a-palloza giveaway on her website until November 1st. There's an iPad and gift cards up for grabs!

  1. Oh I love the look of your new layout. Have you decided to do away with your old header banner entirely?? I love the pretty shade of minty green!! And yes I'm so winning this - I put the hexy eye on your rafflecopter and it's now in love with my witchy ways.

    1. Thank you. Yup - I'm just going for something simple right now. It reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream lol

Once I work through some blogger burnout issues I'll probably go get a a custom design again that has my doggies :-) I do miss my header.

  2. I couldn't say which series I love more because I simply adore both, but it's true that in many ways, Dred Chronicles are less frustrating. I was often so furious with Jax or with March... or both, but that never happens to me with Dred and Jael.
There's no one like Ann, right? :)

    1. I do still love them both but I think maybe I wasn't expecting THAT wild of a ride in Perdition. It's the same yet totally different.

Dred and Jael are awesome :-) and it doesn't take over the story which is great.

  3. Loving the new look to your blog. The colours are wonderful, so refreshing and clean.

Sounds like an interesting read though I can't help but think of Prisoner Cell Block H in space.

    1. I believe it was described (on Goodreads maybe??) as Prison Break in space.

I think it has a Mad Max/Prison Break feel. There is romance but it doesn't overwhelm the story.

  4. Another series that I should get acquainted with! Thanks for the giveaway and I'm a fan of this series' cover arts. It's so artistic in a contemporary sense much like Mercy Thompson's.

    1. You should of course read Jax and there is a little carry over - meaning there are Easter Eggs for fans but I don't think you miss anything important if you read this first. IT's totally different and way darker if at all possible. Jax was pretty dark lol

  7. I loved Ann's other series (not the Jax one) but this one did catch my eye and I hope I win it. Just because I'm sure my local library wont order any.
