  7. I love the trivia from 1965. My dad turned 48 earlier this month and my mom will in June. I sent them your post so they could see what the year they were born looked like too. Even though you're the same biological age, you're MUCH younger than them! I wish I could get them to read more and read done if what I enjoy. I'm always pestering my mom to guest review too, but she only gave in once a long time ago. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! And thanks for your generosity towards us!

I did get my MIL to read some YA (she's almost 70) so there's still hope,

  8. A belated happy birthday to you. It was my father-in-laws on the 16th and my nephews as well as my 4th blogoversary today (18th) so you are in good company.

As my birthday is in February and the weather is generally awful and I have a tendency to be ill I also have a second birthday in August.

  9. Happy birthday, minus a day (you're just a day better, right?)! As a fellow 40mfjphpfhpf, I salute you! I remember filling up my Pinto when gas was under 75 cents a gallon. :)

No memorable birthday stories from me, but a funny one from one of my kiddo. I think it was his 7th, we got him a Cookie Monster cake and after lunch, we'd moved to another room for presents. I went into the kitchen to clean up and who do I find, face down in the very, very blue frosted cake? Snowball (when she was a kitten), her white fur now completely stained blue. She loved it and was a frosting freak forever afterwards. :D

  16. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Sorry I had to get all shouty, but a good birthday wish should be loud.

As for the age thing... most of the time I still feel like a 20something, until I'm actually around a bunch of 20somethings. They say 70 is the new 30, so that means you're practically a tween!

  17. A song... Oooo... Errr... I have one that I normally sing to my brother (so yeah, it's not particularly flattering! But here it is):

    Happy Birthday to you!
    I went to the zoo!
    I saw a big gorilla!
And I thought it was you!

But please note that I don't ACTUALLY think you look like a gorilla (my brother does though...)
