Tune in Tuesday: Love Song Edition

tuneintuesdaylovesongedition_zps1e177a84

Tune In Tuesday is a weekly feature in which bloggers get to showcase another one of their loves, music! The feature was originally created and hosted by Ginger over at GReads! but can now be found over at Kate’s Tales of Books and Bands.

This is the last week of love songs Sad smile I really enjoyed picking songs this month. I’m ending February with a few random picks.

The Story - Brandi Carlile: I’ve seen her sing this in concert twice so far and almost everyone cries (including me) It reminds me of my hubby. Not a fan of this video though because I don’t think it does the song justice.

That Year – Brandi Carlile: OK…this has nothing to do with love, in fact it's depressing but I found it while looking for The Story video. She sang this in concert and explained that it was a song she wrote for a childhood friend that committed suicide. She usually cries whenever she sings it. Yup – not a love song…but it’s so pretty.

1,2,3,4 – Plain White T’s: Let’s switch to a HAPPY love song! The video could not be any cuter! I get all warm and fuzzy whenever I watch it.

Come on Get Higher – Matt Nathanson: I totally forgot to include this in last week’s sexy Tune in Tuesday list. I love this song and sexy….sexy video. (Thank you Molly Jo for the reminder!)

    1. That's exactly what I thought you were going to say!! lol

She sounds kind of country in that version. Live she's kind of all over the place and more rock sounding. I think you would like her if you heard that side of her. That video doesn't help IMO

  2. I've never heard of Brandi Carlisle, but I will definitely check those songs out.

I love The Plain White T's, that song and video is adorable.

Come on Get Higher is perfect! That is a song I could never get tired of. Doesn't hurt that he is utterly handsome in that video.
    Thanks for sharing!

  7. Even though I love a lot of Plain White T's music, 1 2 3 4 is still one of my favorites and that video is part of the reason why! I would watch it every morning while getting ready for school. Great picks :)
