Tune in Tuesday: Soundtrack Edition

Tune in Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Ginger over at GReads! to help spotlight the music we're listening to. The theme for the month of October is Soundtracks!

My pick this week is the soundtrack from the former TV series Scrubs. I loved the show and I loved the music. Anytime Zach Braff is involved with something great music is sure to follow. I know several people have already chosen the soundtrack to his movie Garden State already.

SInce I tend to pick dark, depressing songs I'm going to spotlight a happy song this week.

Beautiful World - Colin Hay

The songs on Music From Scrubs are taken from the songs that are played in the episodes of Season One, and one song from the premiere of Season Two.

  4. Ahhhh! I fell in love with Scrubs in college! I spent a month watching about 6 seasons back to back to back on DVD. Seems like they were always playing Colin Hay or The Fray. And I used to sing along with "I'm No Superman" every episode.

One of the later seasons played a song called "Hey Julie" by Fountains of Wayne, and I adored the song.

  5. "Scrubs" really did have the best music!

Here's my pick for this week:

  6. I recently started watching Scrubs... it's so hilarious that I can't believe it's taken me so long to catch on! I agree, heaps of great music to be had! Thanks for yet another wonderful pick!
