TGIF!

TGIF is hosted by GReads! to re-cap the week's posts. Her question this week is:

Book Blogs That Make You Smile: Pick 5 book blogs you visit often & think others should, too.

Love this!

*My favorite blog and blogger BFF that makes me smile is Tiger from All-Consuming Books. She reviews several genres (from YA to Scripture Sunday's) which keeps the reviews interesting and always gives me something new to add to my reading pile. Tiger has branched out into reviewing music too so now I've been venturing into the world of K-Pop.
But the number one reason I visit her is because she knows my reading tastes better than anyone else. I trust her recommendations 100%.

*A newbie to the blogging world is Alex from Eclectic Inspirations. Like his blog name implies, his reading choices are eclectic. I love reading his thoughts and I enjoy the variety. He's always up for a thoughtful book discussion too.

*I'm not a fan of Historical Romance. Or at least I wasn't until reading In the Hammock Book Reviews. Carrie writes such wonderful reviews that always make me want to run right out and give HR a try. She has learned what I like and don't like from the genre and always has great suggestions for me. And she's THE nicest person!

*Do you want to drool over covers?? I have no idea how she finds them but Lena from Addicted 2 Novels finds every single beautiful YA cover for her Waiting on Wednesday picks. If you read YA - hers is the blog to go to. Lena is a good friend who makes me laugh & is my personal book faery. xoxo

*The Unread Reader is just plain fun. Missie is a wonderful person and has so many great features - "When I'm not Reading" (bloggers), "When I'm Not Writing" (writers), "My Book Boyfriend". I'm always finding new books to read when I visit her blog.

On the blog this week: I reviewed Radiant Desire, Anna Dressed in Blood & I had a character interview with Logan Keeley from Jeri Smith-Ready's Shade series along with a giveaway for A Month of Treats which I'm co-hosting with another of my favorite bloggers  - Julie from My 5 Monkey's

  3. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You make me smile with your kind words.

I agree about everybody. Carrie is the most darling person and she really knows her stuff when it comes to HR. Alex is super-smart and he always brings up some intelligent new point. Lena finds the best, brightest, and prettiest of YA books--the girl could be a publicist, seriously, because she has an eye for book awesomeness.

Yanno, I haven't really read Missie, but I'm going to, now. :-D

  4. Awww!!! :) Thank you so much, Karen! What a sweet write up, I appreciate it! I love Tiger's blog and Missie's blog too, they are both awesome bloggers! I will have to check out the others because while I've heard of them, I'm not that familiar with them.

Thanks again, Karen :) As you know, you're on my list too!!

  8. I think I should just go to you when I'm feeling down. You always seem to surprise me with these things when I tumble across them. And then Tiger said something nice too. I feel so loved! I want to something back just as nice, but I'm afraid of it sounding empty and untrue. I adore you're blog (heck, I kind of adore you!) and it is the focal point of all my bookish exploration and interest.

I follow three of them already (with good impressions) so I imagine the other two will be amazing too.
