Tune in Tuesday!

This is my first time participating in GReads! Tune in Tuesday feature as a way of helping to spread the word about the music we're listening to.

I have a few videos to share, so I'll just get straight to it. Hope you enjoy!

First up is Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) & Karen O (of the Yeah Yeah Yeah's) with a cover of the Immigrant Song. Reznor is set to team up with collaborator Atticus Ross to score director David Fincher's adaptation of Stieg Larsson's The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. My hubby is a die hard Led Zepplin fan and approves.

Next up is Laura Marling - Devil's Spoke. She was recommended to me because I love Mumford & Sons. She is often compared to them (& has a CD called the Dharohar-Project with them) and you can see why! Her songs have the elements of rage and redemption that are so often found in Mumford and Sons music. She has a haunting sound that's all her own though. I'm obsessed with M&S and now I'm obsessed with Laura.

Last up is The Kooks - Junk of the Heart (Happy). It's just....fun and catchy! A great summer song.
