In My Mailbox

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.

Here's what appeared in my mailbox this week!

(sorry for the crappy picture quality this week)

For Review:

Devil's Kiss - 1st book in the Hellraisers Series by Zoe Archer

Trading cards for Devil's Kiss, Zoe's Blade's of the Rose series and The Limit war series by hubby Nico Rosso. Thanks Zoe!

One Grave at a Time by Jeaniene Frost

Won:

Marked up copies of Shade and Shine by Jeri Smith-Ready

Jeri included post it notes with little bits of trivia from the series......

Want a peek at a few?

Shade - Pg 1: "These first 3 chapters remained largely in their original state through every draft. Rare! But it was two years from original idea until I wrote one word."

Pg 6: " My original idea for this world didn't include Shades. That happened after we changed the title form Generation Ghost to Shade when I wrote the second draft."

Shift - Pg. 33 in regards to Zachary owning a Mini Cooper. " I love giving characters things I'd love to own but can't afford - like a Mini Cooper!"

Pg. 45 "I confess , this is one of my favorite scenes. I love when other characters get deservedly angry at Aura and call out her b.s."

That's what I got this week - how about you?

  7. That's neat! I can think of a few authors I'd kill to have mark up my books.

Zoe Archer is one of those authors I need to start reading. I meant to begin with the Blades of the Roses books and never did. My loss, I guess!
