In My Mailbox!

I got quite a few books (and a new toy!!) this week so I'm doing an IMM posting.

For review:
*ARC of Low Red Moon by Ivy Devlin (looks really good!)

*Wolves, Boys and other Things That Might Kill Me by Kristen Chandler
*Faithful - a class of 2K10 book by Janet Fox

*Crazy for Love by Victoria Dahl

New Toy!!
*I got an iPad!! with Mistwood by Leah Cypess downloaded and ready to read!
(I'll be doing a seperate post about the iPad and compare it to my Kindle - for now here's another picture with a game on it next to my kindle)

The last items in the first picture are sheltie/collie dog cookies and a card sent to me by author Alexandra Diaz (Of All the Stupid Things) She actually sent those a few months ago but I wanted to put them in this post because that was such a sweet thing of her to do.....I'm a sucker for anyone who remembers my dogs! and she also sent me some southwest Blue Corn popcorn (she lives in NM) I can't wait to meet Alexandra at BEA!

So that's it for me! What did you get?

  1. Oh you got an ipad! Can't wait for your review and I hope you enjoy all your books!

  2. I'm loving it so far! The kindle was just too hard on my old eyes! lol
I can do my blog from there too!

  3. The Mistwood cover looks really good on the ipad. Can't wait to read about how it compares to the kindle.

  4. Thats fantastic. So jealous of the ipad!!! Low Red Moon looks really good!

    Happy Reading

  5. Hey Karen, nice batch :-) Wow, the iPad! *drooling and blinkingly staring at that wonder* :-)

Can't wait for your comparing review (though I'm even more interested in your Kindle review! I'm seriously contemplating buying one and would love to read more personal opinions about it, the pros and cons, etc.)

Have a nice Sunday afternoon! (unfortunately here it is still that bleak and grey..ugh..)

  6. My boyfriend loves that Plants and Zombies game, hehe ... enjoy :D

  7. I will try to get some good pictures of the iPad and kindle and post this week!

  8. Great list of mailbox items. I do want to read your comparison between reading on the iPad and on the Kindle. I don't have either, but have been (unsuccessfully) trying to convince myself that I don't "need" either. :)

  9. I can't wait to find out what you think of Wolves, Boys and Other Things That Might Kill Me, Mistwood and Faithful ... they all sound great :) Happy Reading (",)

  10. wow, an ipad. i'm curious what you think!!
