HOP!

Happy Black Friday!
Did you wait in line to get the best deals??
Not me - I usually do but I'm feeling too lazy this year to fight the crowds.
We mostly do gift cards anyway now.
Either way enjoy your long weekend and thanks for hopping by!

The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Jen at Crazy for Books

This week's question is: What is Your favorite book cover?
I don't usually fall for book covers but I did buy three books this year because I just fell in love with them. I still have Getting Revenge on Lauren Wood on my bookself because it makes me laugh whenever I look at it.

By Lauren Kate: Torment (Fallen) [Audiobook]Getting Revenge on Lauren WoodThe Dead-Tossed Waves (Forest of Hands and Teeth, Book 2)

As you can tell I'm drawn to the darkside.....LOL

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee

  1. The middle cover would have to be my favourite of these three but then I would say that yellow being my favourite colour.

  2. I love the covers for the Lauren Kate books, but have mixed feelings about the books themselves. I haven't seen the Lauren Wood book before - that is a very cool cover. My favourite book cover is the hardback of Cecelia Ahern's The Book of Tomorrow, it is beautiful.

  3. *nods* I may not like Luce's stories, but she sure gets some jaw-dropping covers! And you're right about Kaylee--the gal on the front cover of MSTS is a little more sure of herself and a little less girl-next-door than Kaylee.

  5. @Petty - the middle book is the book I enjoyed reading the most.
@Katie/Tiger - Yes those Lauren Kate books get me EVERYTIME even though I don't enjoy the series. Arghhh! Lauren Wood was a good one but I haven't even read Dead Tossed Waves - I'm still trying to recover from the trauma that was The Forest of Hands and Teeth...lol

  7. I love ogling (sp?) over book covers -sigh- I can't choose one really but off the top of my head - Fallen (Lauren Kate), Darkest Mercy/Ink Exchange/Wicked Lovely (Melissa Marr), The Gathering UK edition (Kelley Armstrong), Inkspell hardcover(Corenlia Funke), Shiver German edition (Maggie Stiefvater), Thirteen Reasons Why Italian/UK editions(Jay Asher), As You Wish Spanish Edition (Jackson Pearce, Sisters Red (Jackson Pearce), Forsaken (The Demon Trappers) both US and UK editions (Jana Oliver), Masquerade Polish Edtion (Melissa de la Cruz), Leviathan first US edition (Scott Westerfeld) and more and more and more but I'll stop here xD.

I love fantasy/magical/colourful/artistically dark/creepy covers. The Replacement US edition (Brenna Yovanoff) is another fave.
