I tried to grow lave...I totally enjoy these posts! I tried to grow lavender from seeds. Nope. Nothing's happening so I may just buy a plant. I hope your doggies don't get stung. I bought bulbs for a butterfly bush because they said it's deer resistant and likes shade. So, that's most of my backyard. I have tons of lavender in my herb garden,...Lovely! I have tons of lavender in my herb garden, which is where I let my toddlers play outside (there's nothing poisonous, so I don't have to worry about them putting something in little mouths), and even though bees love it, we've never once had a sting.
