Even if it's only "great review" or "I want to read this book," at least I know that the person took the time to glance at my post and even get out of their Google Reader. I don't mind people leaving links to their blogs, except when it's obvious that they haven't read a word I said and they just want to get a return visit from me.

The comments that are the most meaningful to me are ones where you can tell that the person really read and spent a little time thinking about what I wrote. I also realize that these can take a lot of time though, especially when you follow a lot of blogs, so I don't expect them (though I do get excited when I get one)!Natalie https://www.blogger.com/profile/15879112865868418812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7047843651411739466.post-61472563304588368692012-05-07T15:37:27.757-04:002012-05-07T15:37:27.757-04:00My blogger friend Missie from the Unread Reader ha...My blogger friend Missie from the Unread Reader has a button on her sidebar for "The League of Ladies Against Captcha" lol http://theunreadreader.com/Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13958940283330319507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7047843651411739466.post-39197706747691083532012-05-07T15:14:50.078-04:002012-05-07T15:14:50.078-04:00This was a great topic choice and I had fun writin...This was a great topic choice and I had fun writing about it. I definitely hear you loud and clear about not always having the time to comment. I also know the feeling of wondering whether I should comment unless I have a deep and meaningful message for the blogger in question.

I think the thing I focused on most in my own post is that if you want people to respond to what you are saying, "you" need to be in there. It's hard to leave something "meaningful" when the review is generic to the point I'm not sure if someone read the book or if the response to a meme is a picture and book description with no explanation why the blogger picked it.

Anyway, have a great day!

Kathy Ann,
I Write, I Read, I ReviewKathy Ann Colemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17836866225157439514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7047843651411739466.post-35125419996388541172012-05-07T15:01:18.186-04:002012-05-07T15:01:18.186-04:00Karen, I have no problem with 'non-meaningful&...Karen, I have no problem with 'non-meaningful' comments, I have never understood that!! I love to see comments like 'great review', and 'cool cover', they don't bother me at all!! I feel like it's just a way to let someone know that you read the post. Like, "Hi! I was here!"
