CONTEST! Pass It On - Tempting Twins Edition

This is my first PASS IT ON contest. I’ll be grouping a few books I’ve read that have a common theme and passing them on to the winner to make room for more books!

This week I have two books by author Shiloh Walker.

FragileBroken (Berkley Sensation)

Descriptions:
Twin brothers - both carrying around demons from their past. One looking for a normal life and family, the other trying to keep away from any emotional connections that might lead him to more heartache. Adult fiction

Fragile: Luke left his career as a field medic with the Army Rangers to find a normal life without the pain and suffering he saw on the battlefield. He finds himself drawn to Devon, the woman who may be able to make his dreams come true if he can just break down those walls she’s built around her after years of abuse………Fragile

Broken: Quinn has led a very different life than his twin Luke, beginning with his abusive childhood. His mother took him away as a baby, separating him from his father and brother and never giving him a chance of a happy life. After losing the one woman he may have been ready to open his heart to, he leaves the Rangers and works part time as a bounty hunter. That job leads him to his very sexy neighbor Sara who is hiding a very big secret. They must learn to trust each other and their love to make the relationship work and to keep themselves alive………..Broken (Berkley Sensation)

Both are good books but I have to say I’m partial to Quinn……always love a tortured but redeemable soul!

Tortured but redeemable? I just finished watching season 3 of Supernatural, so the character that first leaps to mind is Dean Winchester. He's not a nice guy--he's a glutton, and pretty skanky, and doesn't care about too many people or hesitate to use violence. And yet, he's capable of deep love and sacrifice and he's grown as a character over the course of the seasons to where it's now often /him/ reminding his brother that they have to stay human and show mercy. Dean rules.

  7. My fav tortured but redeemable character is Clay from Kelley Armstrong's books, but I also think that Derrek from her YA series is pretty great too. He never knew the love of a parent and was raised by crazy scientist with the other werewolf pups, then Simon's dad took him home like a lost puppy, then he disappeared. He is a really nice guy underneath it all but noone really gives him a chance, and he is starting to go through his first change on top of everything else they have going on.

I follow you on twitter too (@ashmccabe24)

  10. Sherry, misskallie - ooh Sawyer! Good one

Tiger - I have never seen Supernatural (hangs head in shame) I tried this year but I'm too lost, I'll have to start from the beginning

Elaing8 - I go with Spike - really did try to redeem himself, wonder if Angel could or would want to as Angelis

Mamabookworm, BreiaB, Heather, Ashlyn - Clay is naother good one & I would say that he's been redeemed!

    Reena- CANNOT wait for JM's book....soon :-)

  14. My favorite tortured but redeemable character is Eric Northman. Sure, he seems arrogant and unemotional, but I have a feeling he regrets his tortured past. Plus, he is kind of sweet on Sookie, so I believe he is redeemable too!

Sharon - that's a great pic! I love that movie!! Glad your following now!!

I think my final choice is going to be Spike - he was a true bad boy but he fought to get his soul back and was redeemed in the end. Tough call with so many bad boys out there!
